PETER CSERI

"I enjoy being a dancer not only because

I love to think of the craft as a way of using

my body and          mind as a unified instrument,

but also because of the many fascinating

people with whom I can share

my passion,Teaching became

a compelling aspect

of my

artistry since

the verbalisation that is needed to teach

propels not only my students into

new dimensions on stage but me as well."

Originally from Hungary, Péter is

now based in Amsterdam and

Bratislava (Slovakia). He has been

teaching Countertechnique since

2008. He danced with dance

company Anoukvandijk dc

since 2002 and is currently

still performing in Anouk

van Dijk's works TRUST

and RAUSCH.

After graduating from the

Arts and Vocational School

in Pécs, Peter continued studying

and graduated from Codarts

Rotterdam with a bachelor’s degree in dance in 2000. Since then he has worked as a freelance dancer and Countertechnique teacher mainly in the Netherlands and Germany.

He has participated with great enthusiasm and

unique creativity in countless productions by

anoukvandijk dc, Club Guy and Roni, and Klaus             Jurgens, and many others. Péter is a returning               guest teacher in Codarts Rotterdam,
